Tatsaechlich hat ja auch niemand einen CO2-Detektor.

Aber Ohren... Also lasst uns sie freundlich anhupen, und vielleicht merken sie etwas und beginnen, sich einer anderen Sichtweise zu oeffnen.

Vor allem geht es uns darum, das aktuelle populaere Bild dieser Fahrzeuge zu kippen.

Wir hoffen, dass bald eher das Fahren gruener Autos zum neuen Hype wird!

We are not blaming 4x4 drivers if their car is used for its original purpose (professional use for example in the countryside, trekking etc.), but a growing number of them are only used in cities, as a main vehicle…

Because of their design 4x4 vehicles naturally pollute more than the average car. They are less aerodynamic, are much heavier and use wider tyres. This design while very useful in muddy countryside and off-road, is completely unnecessary in urban areas and so these unused features only serve to increase their CO2 emissions!

Obviously, other kinds of cars are also extremely polluting but we focus first on 4x4’s because they are easy to detect and highly visible. Our next steps will be to consider any cars emitting more than 300g CO2 per mile.
